A decision should leave a trace
The Reverse Consent Engine contract defines events for grants, renewals, revocations, blocks, expirations, and violations. Each event can identify the person, token, event type, time, actor, and supporting details.
A useful history should help a person understand what changed and who or what initiated the change. An operational audit record should also help DataStorm and authorized reviewers investigate failures without exposing more personal information than necessary.
Event history is evidence, not magic
- Record the event close to the action it represents.
- Protect records from unauthorized alteration and access.
- Explain system and partner actions in plain language.
- Separate a recorded request from proof that every downstream system complied.
- Document retention, correction, and dispute procedures.
